"Location is wonderful, very peaceful and spectacular views from the patio. Beds and sofa very comfortable though a feather pillow option would have been nice. Kitchen facilities and showers good. Pool very welcome in hot weather and well kept."

"Some crockery, cutlery and saucepans needed cleaning properly on arrival. Instructions for A/C would be helpful. I found it impossible to adjust in the twin bedroom. There should be a warning about the depth of most of the pool. Could be dangerous for small children. Also, the walk from the car park to house is very steep although short. Hard for the elderly!"

"Mont Joie is the perfect holiday home. It is beautifully decorated and feels like your own private mini-chateau—and the views are a dream. The hosts (Vincent and family) and the lovely manager (Martine) have thought of every comfort and kindness. There’s AC for the scorching summer heat and a marvellous heated pool to while away sunny afternoons overlooking the Dordogne, hot air balloons, and some of the local chateaux. I couldn’t recommend this place, and the hosts, more highly. We’ll be back, and we’ll be dreaming of Beynac and Mont Joie until our return!"

"Die Lage vom Maison Milou ist sehr schön, man ist abseits der Touristen unten im Dorf Beynac und kann hier die Seele baumeln lassen. Das Haus ist in Wirklichkeit viel größer als auf den Fotos!"

"Im Haus gab´s viele Spinnweben, die man vielleicht wegmachen könnte bevor Gäste kommen! In einem Schrank waren sogar noch übriggebliebene Lebensmittel (Chips, Zwiebeln, Biscuits) von den Vorgängern..."

"What a hidden gem accommodation in the Dordogne region! It was a wonderful memory. It was a modernly renovated old house, but there was no inconvenience at all. Andrea and Martin were very kind to us and helped us a lot. The accommodation is located on a steep slope, but Andrea carried our luggage with us. Thank you! I'm sure staying here will make you fall in love. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the fantastic water fog that blooms over the Dordogne River while listening to the pleasant birds chirping, and at night you can see the countless stars. When you take a walk around the secluded Beynac Castle and look at the beautiful views, it feels like a paradise on earth. I highly recommend it! We traveled to many region of France on our france trip, but especially in the Dordogne region, we were very happy and made even more happy memories thanks to the accommodation. I'll definitely come back one day!"
